Path to Design Updates - Part 2
Not much progress since last I wrote.
Unfortunately, the past few months have been a stressful time in my personal life, which in turn has affected the amount of time I could commit to Path to Design.
In my previous update I mentioned how we were forced to renovate the house after finding mold. The deadline to moving back in was supposed to be December 8th, 2025. It's now March 7th, 2026 and we've yet to move in.
Unfortunately, we hired a cowboy builder that kept giving us empty promises. We've terminated the contract, but we now need to pick up the pieces and fix everything that he has ruined.
Recently, I had an honest conversation with myself about what to do next. Instead of being low and feeling sorry for myself, I decided that it's time to focus my time and energy on a project that brings me joy. I will have to manage it with fixing up the house, but I don't want it to take away from trying to grow Path to Design.
Still bringing in traffic

For the past 3 months I've been hardly working on Path to Design, yet the website still brings in traffic organically. Sure it's not a lot and yes it's trending down, but I still think it's pretty cool that people are spending time on the site.
These numbers will start to trend up once I get back into the swing of things.
Next steps
The plan is to write a few articles tailored around targeted keywords. The hope is that it will increase organic traffic to the site. I've written one, but I've yet to publish it. I will need to update the site to cater to these blogs.
I will need to start reaching out to designers and ask them to post their stories to the site. This is something that I would always do on a regular basis, unfortunately I haven't done this in a long time. Every new post from a designer brings in traffic and adds integrity to the site. I cannot stop finding new leads.
Back to it
I hope I'll be able to balance fixing up the house while working on Path to Design. It'll be difficult, but it'll be worth it. There's so much potential with Path to Design, I know I'll be able to grow it and generate revenue from it.
I just need to get back to working on it.
